This Privacy Policy describes how PRIMAL LAW (the "Project") processes personal data collected through the website primallawmovie.com (the "Site"), in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended.
1. Data controller. The data controller is the PRIMAL LAW project team. For any request relating to your personal data you can write to info@primallawmovie.com.
2. Data we collect.

• Contact and press messages — name, email address, subject, message content.
• Newsletter — email address and, optionally, name.
• Technical data — data automatically generated by your browser (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) and stored in server logs for security and diagnostics.
3. Purposes and legal basis.
a) Evaluation of applications and collaboration proposals — legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR) and, for optional fields, your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR).
b) Reply to messages received via the Site — legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures at your request or legitimate interest of the Project in managing communications (art. 6.1.b and 6.1.f GDPR).
c) Sending the newsletter — legal basis: your specific and freely given consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the "unsubscribe" link in each email or by writing to info@primallawmovie.com.
d) Site security, prevention of abuse, technical diagnostics — legal basis: legitimate interest of the Project (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
e) Compliance with legal obligations — legal basis: art. 6.1.c GDPR.
4. Provision of data. Providing the data marked as required in the forms is necessary to process your request; refusal makes it impossible for us to reply or evaluate the application. Providing optional data is free and does not affect the evaluation.
5. Recipients. Your data may be processed by:
• Authorised members of the Project's team and its collaborators bound by confidentiality.
• Technical service providers acting as data processors under art. 28 GDPR, including hosting, database, storage, email delivery and analytics providers strictly used to run the Site and the application flow.
• Public authorities, where required by law.
Your data is not sold, rented or shared for advertising purposes.
6. Transfers outside the EEA. Some technical providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases the Project ensures adequate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR, in particular the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission.
7. Retention.
• Application data and attached files: for the time necessary to evaluate the application and manage subsequent communications, and in any case no longer than 24 months from the last contact, unless a collaboration begins or a longer retention is required by law.
• Contact / press messages: up to 12 months from the last exchange.
• Newsletter: until you withdraw consent or the service is discontinued.
• Technical logs: up to 12 months, save for specific security incidents.
8. Your rights. Under articles 15–22 GDPR you have the right to: access your data, request correction or deletion, request restriction of or object to the processing, request portability, and withdraw any consent given (without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand). You can exercise these rights by writing to info@primallawmovie.com.
9. Complaints. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
10. Minors. The Site is not directed to persons under 16. If you are under 16, please do not submit personal data.
11. Cookies. The Site uses only technical browser storage. See the Cookie Policy for details.
12. Changes. This Privacy Policy may be updated. The updated version will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date.
